Leaders across the organizations are charged with driving a Main Street banking model, and that includes how we deliver our products, services and culture locally for our clients and the communities we serve. It's critical that when we think about accessibility, we embrace this same philosophy and promote a barrier-free environment where our employees work and our customers bank.
How does innovation show up at PNC?
This past spring, PNC celebrated the opening of a North Texas Technology & Innovation Hub outside of Dallas. This team will focus on developing and elevating PNC's industry- leading innovation, technology and security endeavors in a workspace that encourages an environment where diverse teams can succeed and be innovative. PNC's Enterprise Innovation Group oversees all innovation programs including APIFest, expos, flash hacks, and new technology and innovation incubation. I recently had the honor of participating in a flash hack event to recommend enhancements to our internal accommodations process.
As you continue your long and impressive career at PNC, what inspires you?
I admire how PNC manages to not only stay relevant, but to thrive. PNC saw an opportunity to grow from a regional mid-Atlantic bank to a coast-to-coast franchise, and is now the nation's fifth largest bank. I am proud that PNC's executive leadership recognized the importance of diversity, inclusion and accessibility long before other organizations began doing so. While much work remains to be done in these important areas, much has been learned and implemented along the way.
Meet Kerry Stith, Senior Vice President & Accessibility Director
Kerry's career spans over 20 years with PNC Bank, where he has held leadership roles across various lines of business including Consumer Lending Operations, Enterprise Third Party Management and Enterprise Program Management. As Accessibility Director, Kerry now leads PNC's enterprise-wide accessibility strategy.
