The Famous Class of 2022

raduation season has come to a close, sending a new wave of graduates into the world. But among those graduates are some familiar faces from our favorite movies, shows, music and sports teams. Let's take a look at some of the famous members of the Class of 2022.

Anthony Anderson
Before establishing his film and television career, Anthony Anderson attended college for three years before dropping out due to a lack of funds. Nearly 30 years later, Anderson is one of the newest and proudest graduates of Howard University's 2022 class. Encouraged to go back to school by his eldest son, who also attends Howard University, Anderson earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts. It's never too late! Anderson posted on Instagram, along with a photo of himself and fellow graduates. Things happen when they're supposed to happen!

Angela Bassett
Angela Bassettwas not only the keynote speaker for Old Dominion University's graduation, but she was also part of the graduating class. This year, Bassettjoins the class of 2022, being honored with an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree. This marks Bassett's third honorary doctorate, having earned one from Yale University in 2018 and Morehouse College in 2020. Bassetttook to Instagram to celebrate this achievement by saying, I'm so happy and humbled to receive an honorary doctorateEducation is truly the KEY!

Stephen Curry
When basketball star Stephen Curry isn't on the court, he is working on his degree. This year, Curry joins the class of 2022 at Davidson College, earning his bachelor's degree in Sociology. Curry initially attended Davidson from 2006 to 2009 and reenrolled to finish his last few classes this last spring. Though Curry did notattendtheicialceremony, he was honored in the school's graduation program and by his team, The Golden State Warriors, via Twitter.
